Inter off to meet supporter in 2013
2013 is set to be a different year for Internacional. With Gigante da Beira-Rio closed to complete modernization works, the club sought an alternative to remain strong and competitive on and off the field: head out to meet supporters. And catering to suggestions from those wanting to see the Champion of Everything in their city, Inter decided to make Centenário stadium, in Caxias do Sul, its second home. Thus, until August, Inter and supporters will be found in the Gaucho Highlands.
To ensure the support of fans, the Club has prepared a series of advantages and activities aimed especially at members living in the state interior. See below:
CAS Unit in Caxias
To meet the needs of members in the Highland region and associate new members, the Member Service Center (CAS) established a permanent unit at Centenário, offering the same services as the Beira-Rio unit.
Meetings
Each weekend, Inter, with the Champion of Everything bus and a committee composed of managers, ex-players and club mascots, will host lunches in regional cities, further strengthening ties with supporters and mobilizing Colorados to cheer for Inter and attend matches. During these visits new members will be registered, with a new feature: the official Inter bus is now equipped with a printer that allows membership cards to be delivered to members at the time of registering.
Welcome
As in Porto Alegre, illuminated billboards were erected at the two entrances to Caxias do Sul, indicating the presence of the Inter in the city.
Actions at games
As with matches at Beira-Rio, in Caxias do Sul regional members can benefit from a range of actions promoted by CAS. Members are selected through lots to enter the field for each match. They can also win tickets, watch matches from the boxes and take photos with players.
Excursions
Despite being outside of the capital, Inter won’t forget about members from Porto Alegre and the Metropolitan Region. So that these supporters can continue cheering for Colorado in Caxias do Sul, the Club is contracting a number of tourism companies to offer discounted prices for those wanting to stand beside the team at Centenário. Return trips will cost from BRL 18.00.
Actions that continue in 2013
Paixão Premiada (Prize for Passion): more partners offering discounts to members
Fidelidade premiada (Loyalty award): weekly lucky draws to the value of BRL 1000.00
1+1: official uniforms for those who join and those who indicate a new member
Cinema: lucky draw for tickets to the best films of the year
A Voz do Sócio (Member’s Voice): Inter radio program geared toward members, each Tuesday, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Pênalti Premiado (Prize Penalty): promotion back strong in 2013
Trips with the delegation: members will travel with the team to different matches throughout the country
Consular events: parties organized by consulates bring Inter and its supporters together
Social Actions: consulates will be even more engaged in social actions and excursions to matches.
