With the presence of three members and the eternal idol Claudiomiro, on March 04, club president Giovanni Luigi initiated a series of events in preparation for the reinauguration of Beira-Rio stadium.

Together, the four undertook the symbolic task of planting the last seedlings for the new pitch in the Colorado stadium. Scorer of the first goal at Beira-Rio, Claudiomiro looked back at the moment fondly. Members Jean Ribas, Jalma de Oliveira and Antônio Vianna were selected through a lucky draw by the Member Service Center (CAS) and were equally thrilled to participate.

The act was planned by the board recently instituted to plan commemorative actions for the opening of the new Colorado stadium in partnership with BRIO and Andrade Gutierrez. “Throughout the year there will be other events like this one for each major advance in the modernization works, always bringing members and ex-players together”, stated Internacional’s general secretary and board coordinator, Gelson Pires.

The board meets weekly to plan the range of activities that can be undertaken to approximate supporters during this very special time. The club’s general secretary emphasized that only events publicized by the board are valid and may be expected by fans.
