Inter continues 100% in the return stage of the State Championship

Inter beat São Luiz 2 - 1 on March 21, in Novo Hamburgo. Leandro Damião and D'Alessandro scored the goals that ensured the fifth straight win in the State Championship. With Ygor out due to injury and Forlán called up for the Uruguayan National Team, Inter step onto the field with a fresh lineup. In the midfield, defensive midfielder Airton made his debut in the Colorado colors. In attack, Caio was given an opportunity alongside Leandro Damião. Fred was back in the initial lineup upon completing his automatic suspension.

The goals
In the 42nd minute of the first half, Caio sent a low cross from the backline and Damião struck powerfully, off a volley, to score the first. It was the striker's seventh goal, equaling Forlán as top goal scorer of the State Championship.
In the 10th minute of the second half, Washington struck from just outside the penalty area, placing the ball in Muriel's right-hand corner, equalizing the match. 1 - 1. Colorado kept a cool head and went in search of the next goal. At 41 minutes, D'Alessandro took a free kick close to the penalty area, sending the ball over the wall and into the left corner. What a goal! 2 - 1!
